My dress fit perfectly thanks to the team at Formal Dress Shops. After I placed my order, I was contacted to provide my measurements and they measured the dress and sent a size smaller than I had ordered. Wow! The dress fit me perfectly and was so comfortable to wear. I’m almost 60 and my body is not what it used to be. The cut and style of this dress accentuates the great parts and hides the bad perfectly. Out of all the dresses I tried, this is the only one I felt comfortable enough in to not even require any shape wear.

This dress it stunning! Gorgeous style with exquisite detail. I am 5'9" and have hard time finding length long enough. This dress is plenty long with train which adds to the elegant style. I wear size 10, the fit is perfect. I feel great in the dress with no scratching of fabric. It is lined that makes the dress flow beautifully. I was nervous ordering as I like to see & feel the material but this is exactly what I was hopping for. Wearing to our son's wedding. LOVE IT ! Thanks for making my dress shopping a very Happy one!!!

I always viewed the photos online for the dresses from designer titled Portia & Scarlet and wanted to experience wearing one of those dresses. I searched and was able to locate this dress. I must say I felt it coming from the start but had no choice. Meaning, I received the item and first didn't like that it had a tailor dress maker feel, not a designer feel. Now what does that means. Dresses from various designers (high end), when it comes to seams and strings etc. they are normally not visible. From unboxing to trying on it was had the feel of hemming, altering, and when I tried it on, it was just not built for my body no matter what they did to send to me. I took photos of the gathered area, and yes it's not as bad as it sounds, but it was noticeable to me and for my birthday I wanted to be smooth all the way through. Now since the try on, the embellishments were falling left and right and not having another dress I put on to do my walk out and here is the disappointment. Beads falling and sequins everywhere I walked. I just did not like this dress and took it off. Its sitting on my closet floor was thinking of returning, but with a 20% restock fee I am weighing my options to return or to resell on one of my own platforms. Just don't bother. But then again...everyone is different, so you may like it. #goodluck.

First let me start off by saying this dress is gorgeous! I saw this dress and knew my daughter had to have it to go with her Under the Sea themed Sweet 16! I could not find it in store and rolled the dice on ordering it online @ Formal Dress Shops. I provided my daughter’s measurements and they suggested the sizing! They were right on target!!! I ordered it and it arrived in less than 5 days!!!! Quality unbelievable!!! And I purchased at a lower cost than any other site!!!!!!! My daughter felt like a true Princess!
