1) Website Usage & Products:

All of the Dresses, Shoes, & Handbags/Purses we sell at FormalDressShops.com are brand new; we don’t carry used, damaged, or sampled products, of any kind, what-so-ever on our website.   All of products/items are examined before being shipped out in order to ensure you receive a complete product of high quality that is free of flaws and/or defects.
    a. Please note that due to different computer screens, dimensions & resolutions, some colors might slightly look different than they actually are. See Color Chart for approximate dress color reference.
    b. Not all dresses come readily as a “perfect fit”, even if you buy it in a store, most dresses need alterations for that “perfect fit.” See Section 2 (Measuring Instructions for Dresses).

We strive to provide you with excellent client service, so please contact us if anything arises, we are here for you!   Our operational hours are 9-5 PST Monday through Friday.

2) Measuring Instructions for Dresses:

Please make sure that you have measured yourself & are picking the right size before purchasing your dress & shoes. Refer to this video for some tips on measuring yourself for your dress: How to get your measurements for your dress. .
    a. Bust: Not the same as a bra size. Measure around the fullest part of your bust and back, pull snugly. Don’t forget to compensate for bras/undergarments you may intend on wearing under the dress.
    b. Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waistline, usually 2” above your belly button.
    c. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually 8” below your belly button.

3) Returns / Exchanges:

We do not accept any returns (as our suppliers don’t either) however as a courtesy to our clients, exchanges are welcome 3 days from the day the item was received, up to one time only.   We only accept items in its original condition, any items (dresses, shoes, purses/handbags, & accessories) that have been worn, have missing pieces, or smell like cigarettes, perfume, body odors, etc. will be returned back & the client pays for the shipping. In case the item you are exchanging for is not in stock, we will give you store credit. We only accept exchanges for the equal or lesser amount of the item originally ordered.  If you choose a dress with higher value, you could pay the difference.

There is a 15% restocking fee for all exchanges & client pays shipping for both ways, please make sure you order the right size, color, etc. before paying.
 
4) Inventory / In Stock:

We do strive to make sure all of our dresses, shoes, purses/handbags, & accessories are in stock.   In case an item is out of stock we have the right to refund the customer if the item is not available within 10 business days.   We will notify you immediately of an arrival date.

5) Shipping:

We will ship your item within 48 hours of your cleared payment and will email you a tracking number as well. Additionally, we only accept and ship to confirmed addresses for PayPal payments.  
      a. Shipping within the United States: We use FedEx & UPS for shipments within the United States.
      b. International Shipping: We use USPS (United States Postal Service) for all international shipments (outside the United State of America).  

Note: Please note that FedEx & UPS will not ship to P.O. Boxes or Military Bases.  USPS will, but delivery time may be delayed.

6) Sales Tax:

California residents are required to pay a sales tax of 9.75% . Sales Tax applies ONLY to residents of the State of California. If you live in the state of California, you will notice that sales tax has been applied to your online order automatically.

All orders for client's who are located outside of the State of California, are not required to pay Sales Tax.

7) Payments:

We only accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal & Money Orders !

Note: Exception for International Orders; We do NOT accept credit cards orders and/or money orders from international customers. International orders must be paid using PayPal only !
